We are in search of a Tax Sr. - Corporate to join our team located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role will involve handling the company's indirect tax matters, providing expertise to all aspects of the company's business transactions, and assisting in other areas of tax.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of indirect tax matters, including compliance, account reconciliations, audits, and business advisory
- Respond to indirect tax questions from internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain tax systems and ensure accurate transactional tax calculation validation
- Advise on vendor-billed sales tax and tax determinations on business purchases
- Update and track exemption certificates
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable and Customer Service Teams to ensure proper tax calculations
- Handle indirect tax notices and maintain the tax notice database
- Support and implement process improvement initiatives within the Tax Department
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly estimated payments and annual income tax return filings for federal and state jurisdictions
- Assist with the calculation of the income tax provision under ASC 740 and respond to income tax notices with assistance as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate tax role
- Proficiency in Corporate Income Tax and Corporate Tax Compliance
- Experience with SAP, OneSource, OneStream, and ASC 740
- Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred
- Familiarity with tax research tools and databases
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on analysis
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
