Application Help Desk Specialist
Key Role :
Provide in-depth support and lead problem-solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications.
Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications :
6+ years of experience working closely with IT teams to address and resolve technical challenges, escalating complex issues when necessary for swift resolution
Experience with interpreting complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical users, ensuring clear communication and problem resolution
Knowledge of computer software systems, including databases, office applications, and operating systems
Knowledge of how to maintain thorough records of technical issues, solutions, and user interactions to create a knowledge base for future reference
Ability to inform customers about application issues and walk customers step-by-step through the problem-solving process
Ability to identify recurring technical issues and patterns, contributing insights to continuous improvement efforts, and proactive problem-solving
TS / SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications :
Experience with JIRA, SharePoint, or ServiceNow
Ability to be a self-starter and display excellent work ethic
Possession of excellent client service, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance :

TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
