Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, server architects, and application teams to translate business requirements into robust technical network solutions.
You’ll be responsible for creating technology roadmaps aligned with strategic direction, business needs, and resource constraints.

Responsibilities :
- Provide technical leadership and frameworks to meet business objectives.
- Offer expert consultation for major network initiatives and incidents.
- Develop and endorse network standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in alignment with business and IT strategic goals.
- Collaborate with technical management to architect networks that meet service-level and availability requirements.
- Create design principles, models, and internal standards based on industry best practices.
- Participate in the selection of networking technologies and products.
- Continuously update your understanding of business and technology needs.
- Write technical and business documentation.
- Collaborate with management and support teams.
- Assist in project scoping and cost estimation.
- Influence team members and business colleagues.
- Work with other subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical support teams to deliver excellent solutions.
- Develop technically sound solutions architecture aligned with business needs.
Skills :
- Minimum 8 years of experience designing and implementing comprehensive network solutions using Avaya, Cisco, or Juniper products.
- Advanced knowledge of protocols including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP, SPB, and TRILL.
- Strong skills in IPV4 and IPV6.
- Familiarity with WAN technologies.
- Proficiency in redundancy and high availability protocols such as VRRP, HSRP, GLBP, SLB, LACP, and PAGP.
- Expertise in network virtualization technologies including MPLS, VRF, VLAN, and VSS.
- In-depth understanding of tunneling protocols like IPSEC, GRE, and L2TPv3.
- Experience in data center and high availability design.
- Advanced knowledge of Quality of Service (QoS).
- Exposure to VOIP components and converged networks.
- Familiarity with network security standards.
- Knowledge of Avaya, Cisco, and Juniper network hardware models, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, packet analysis tools, and WAN accelerators.
Education :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in Cisco and / or Juniper are required.
