POSITION SUMMARY :
Entry level role that is working in a plant / factory. Performs a series of operations or tasks under close supervision, utilizing documented work processes.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
- Contributes to division results and performance.
- Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
- Operate equipment specific to area such as :
- CARBON : Bag products, samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon;
calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility waste water treatment plant.
- REGEN : Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load / unload trucks; evacuates bottles.
