Job Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented Grant & Payroll Specialist to support our network of independent charter schools.
The ideal candidate will manage grant administration for all local, state and federal grants for our charter schools and payroll reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
This position will report directly to the School Finance Manager. Responsibilities : Grant Administration : Oversee grant compliance and reporting processes for all local, state and federal grants Monitor grant budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with funding requirements.
Ensure all grant transactions are recorded properly in Quickbooks Online Complete all reimbursement requests for awarded grants from the appropriate agency Payroll Reporting : Work with Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate payroll processing Prepare payroll journal entries for all sites and enter into Quickbooks Online Ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations.
Financial Reporting : Assist in financial reporting and analysis related to grants and payroll. Accounts Management : When needed, assist in the processing of Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Compliance and Documentation : Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Support audits and compliance reviews related to grants and payroll.
Preferred Qualifications : Proven experience in grant management and payroll administration. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, MS Office (especially Excel), and Google Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with CDE Chart of Accounts preferred Experience in a Colorado school, district or authorizer preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
