In the role of a Computational Associate I : You can make a difference in biomedicine In studying the biological basis of many diseases including cancer and infectious disease you are laying the groundwork for future therapies that change lives.

Please visit our website to learn more! Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least a current undergraduate senior with an expected graduation date of Dec. 2024 or May 2025
  • Majored in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics, computational biology or similar field
  • At least 1 year of undergraduate independent research experience (outside of coursework)
  • Strong programming skills and experience with programming languages, preferably Python or R
  • Experience with Unix / Linux environments (including shell scripting) is a plus!

Please note that the BBPS admissions process is separate from the ECR hiring process. Receiving a job offer does not guarantee admission into BBPS, but in order to be admitted to BBPS, you must have a job offer from a research group at the Broad Institute.

We will ask for your CV / résumé and responses to a short questionnaire. If you advance to next steps, you will then receive an email request to complete an on-demand interview and a coding assessment as the first step in the interview process.

You will also learn about the lab specific openings at this time. Those interview responses will be reviewed by our recruiting team and possible next steps will be communicated via email.
