Senior Supply Chain Manager
Location : Atlanta, GA
Starting Pay : $90,000–$110,000 per year, Monday-Friday 1st shift (on-call / available when issues or emergencies arise)
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and oversee daily operations for all supply chain functions, including storeroom, mobile medical equipment, and supply distribution.
- Develop and implement advanced supply distribution processes and inventory controls to ensure efficient delivery of products across the organization.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels while balancing carrying and storage costs, ensuring timely availability of supplies for clinicians and patients.
- Ensure compliance with inventory tracking regulations and best practices and manage the timely delivery of implantable and other critical products.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives using LEAN principles, focusing on cost-effective and efficient material processes.
- Oversee disaster supply management and readiness, including product standardization and operational plans for point-of-use systems.
- Develop, direct, and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and goals in alignment with hospital needs.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring ongoing education and compliance with departmental standards.
- Develop and manage department budgets, operating within established targets.
- Establish performance metrics, improve productivity, and leverage technology for optimal logistics and material management outcomes.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with hospital executives, department heads, suppliers, and clinical leaders to support operational and fiscal objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).2–4 years of managerial experience in a healthcare environment required.Extensive knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory management, and process improvement techniques preferred.Strong strategic thinking, project management, and financial acumen.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Certifications such as Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) are a plus.Essential Functions
