WAI, a leading international automotive parts manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for part time 2nd Shift Photography Assistant (4 PM - 9 : 30 PM, Mon- Fri) to join our Distribution Center team! Photography Assistant will be responsible for 3D / 360 automotive parts photography and editing process. It includes some editing and filing of photographs, and working with third party editors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stages products and runs 3D photo booth to produce 3D images
- Labels files, saves image sequences and distributes files in an accurate and timely manner
- Expedites the issuance of photographs to the database for release
- Compiles data and assists in the preparation and archiving of photographs
- Creates photograph duplicates per customer requirements as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS ( Education, Experience, & Skills required)
Education - High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of work experience in still or digital photography or college courses taken in still / digital photography;
or any combination of education and experience
Skills and Ability
- Basic knowledge of still and digital photography
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of photographic principals, practices and techniques
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures
Personal Attributes - Uses time efficiently, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, highly safety conscious observing safety and security procedures, strong internal customer-service orientation.
Work Environment
This position operates in an office and warehouse environment, using standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, RF scanners and printers.
