We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Guidewire software (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) and will play a pivotal role in analyzing business needs, driving system configurations, and ensuring successful project delivery.
This role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to bridge the gap between business processes and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define business requirements and ensure proper implementation of Guidewire systems.
- Lead and facilitate business process analysis, design, and improvements with a focus on Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
- Collaborate with clients to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into system functionality within Guidewire applications.
- Participate in system configuration, testing, and deployment to ensure solutions meet the client’s business objectives.
- Develop use cases, test cases, and scenarios for validating Guidewire system functionality.
- Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure alignment of business needs.
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and user training.
- Analyze and optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Stay updated on Guidewire product enhancements and recommend process improvements or system upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in insurance and financial services, preferably with Guidewire implementations.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire platform architecture, configurations, and integration points.
- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter (at least one required).
- Proven experience in conducting business analysis and writing detailed functional specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment, handling multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and working within a Scrum framework.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings and workshops.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter .
- Experience with insurance product design, underwriting, and claims processing.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
