LogMet Solutions is in search of an experienced Sales Assistant to be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

In this position you will need to successfully operate in a fast- paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our sales team’s success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Handle all incoming issues and resolve them or assign tasks to the appropriate person.
  • Follow up on sales quotes or orders to ensure completion and provide status updates to customers / vendors.
  • Collaborate with appropriate person on any / all issues as quickly as possible.
  • Fully document all work performed and communications delivered to the customer.
  • Must learn some cross-functional knowledge of other roles.
  • Enter orders as needed.
  • Accurately report shipping discrepancies and customer requests for return (RMA)
  • Collaborate with vendor partners on bid proposals.
  • Prepare formal proposals (RFQs and RFIs).
  • Assist with Accounts Payables / Account Receivables Processing
  • Other Duties as needed.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Five or more years of Customer Service experience required; knowledge of Health Care industry a plus
  • Intermediate Experience in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid planning, organizational, and recordkeeping skills
