We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team at Marmon Aerospace & Defense.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing actionable insights to support marketing strategies and business decisions in the wire and cable industry.

Additional duties include Managing the website, social media, and logistics for trade show events. This is a remote role and can be located anywhere within the US.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the wire and cable industry, including market size, growth projections, and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor industry publications, reports, and news sources to stay informed about market developments and emerging trends.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics, including sales data, website traffic, and campaign performance, to assess ROI and identify areas for optimization.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to support marketing planning and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies, product positioning, and pricing strategies based on market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of long-term marketing plans and initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute our presence at industry tradeshows and events.
  • Create content for social media platforms and manage posting.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updates of our company website to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in market research, competitive analysis, and marketing analytics, preferably in the wire and cable industry or a related B2B environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
