The Work You'll Do :
As the Professional Services Customer Migrations Lead, you will develop and manage our customer migration program. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Customer Delivery, Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and Transformation to ensure migrations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will provide feedback and address bottlenecks and gaps in our processes to ensure successful customer migrations.
More specifically, you will :
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects and key programs across all migration initiatives.
- Manage multiple programs spanning several technical teams and technology areas across multiple geographies.
- Oversee communication for technical and go-to-market delivery across these projects with senior leadership and partner organizations.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and balance business needs against technical constraints to advance projects quickly.
- Collaborate with business, product, and Solution Architect teams to balance business and technical variables to deliver effective solutions.
- Manage the organizational roadmap and goals for migrations.
- Identify and address gaps between teams, processes, and systems to better achieve organizational goals and enhance the customer / partner experience.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and update migration program milestones.
- Develop and / or utilize a detailed plan for the migration program that outlines all tasks, timelines, and resources required.
- Ensure the project is managed effectively, with all tasks completed on time and with accurate outcomes.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the migration programs and collaborate to implement solutions to keep the programs on track.
- Act as an extension of the customer, proactively advocating within Sovos and with the customer to accomplish defined objectives.
- Ensure customer feedback is clearly captured and conveyed internally to enable ongoing improvement of Sovos products and services.
What We Need From You
- 5+ years of professional or managed services experience in SaaS or a similar industry.
- 3+ years of experience working with enterprise-size accounts.
- General knowledge of tax reporting and compliance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging, and crisis management.
- Experience in process improvement, decision making, managing processes, planning, analyzing information, and developing standards.
- Experience supporting global customers across multiple products.
- Proficiency in Spanish and / or Portuguese is a plus.
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire.
