We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance and accounting function for Quality Glass and Mirror Service, a high growth, market leader in glass fabrication and installation.

In this role you will :
- Lead the accounting, treasury, tax, and finance functions
- Be responsible for the annual budget and forecasts alongside the executive team
- Establish and maintain systems and internal controls that support the integrity of all systems, processes, and data across your area of responsibility
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reporting packages, including board of director presentations and reporting, financial and operating metrics, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Manage all activities relating to external auditors, tax providers and statutory agencies for audits, inquiries, and tax compliance
- Lead the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures
- Be an effective communicator with a commitment to fostering the development of your team including hiring and training to enable continuous growth and improvement
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to automate and accelerate the financial reporting process across multiple entities
- Support ad hoc projects and help define systems improvements to support our growth and drive operational outcomes
Background and Experience Required :
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree
- 7 to 10+ years of progressively responsible experience as Accounting Manager / Controller (a combination of public / private preferred)
- Experience successfully cultivating, completing, and integrating acquisitions
- A solid understanding of GAAP accounting
- A proven track record of effective budget management, improving internal financial processes, identifying improvement opportunities through data and optimizing cash flow
- Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allow for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting
- You have experience in a variety of financial systems and related programs, including QuickBooks Online, ERP systems, and advanced Excel knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to thrive and create value in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments
Bonus points if you have :
- Previous experience in the glass fabrication or another light manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with BI Dashboards (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
- Familiarity with financial consolidation software (e.g., Prophix, OneStream, etc.)
- Previous experience with M&A integrations including financial modeling and treasury integration
- Master’s degree in a related field (MBA, Masters in Finance, etc.)
