Role Summary : As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and cleanliness of all hourly production staff during your shift.

Your role involves organizing and supervising team activities, optimizing workflow, and ensuring efficient machine operation.

You will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and retaining employees to build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including receiving, material handling, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping, ensuring smooth workflow for each product line.
• Manage and support up to 30 hourly workers and department leads, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and facility cleanliness.
• Assist in staffing decisions, including hiring for open positions and managing temporary staff.
• Contribute to productivity and maintenance functions, which may involve operating machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide guidance to Technicians and Operators. Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to resolve problems.
• Ensure timely completion of shift paperwork and data entry.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide feedback on shift trends. Implement cost reduction strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with other shift Supervisors and the Operations Manager on a daily basis.
• Conduct weekly shift meetings covering safety, quality, facility updates, HR, and scheduling.
• Attend weekly production meetings with other shift Supervisors and the Operations Manager.
• Manage tooling and printing inventories, and coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance for reordering supplies as necessary.

Qualifications :

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to lead up to 30 hourly employees, including department leads.
• Experience in maintaining high safety standards and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with mechanical aptitude.
