Site Acquisition Project Manager Contracting
Come help us build the future! We are looking for an experienced project manager with demonstrated expertise in contract management and title review to help coordinate internal projects and timelines for our client! In this role, you will work closely with the Regional Business Developers (RBDs) and Legal Team to manage contract and title review timelines, streamline processes, and create efficiencies.
Core Responsibilities
The Site Acquisition (SAQ) team is divided into six regions : North America (NA), South America (SA), Europe (EUR), Africa & the Middle East (AFR / ME), and Asia-Pacific (APAC) East and West.
RBDs execute vendor contracts, site reservations, and leases for sites within their regions, all subject to Legal team contract and title review.
The primary role of this position is to manage the contract workload on behalf of the SAQ team, including managing the contract flow with the Legal team, prioritizing projects, and managing timelines between teams.
This role will track title submittals, respond to requests for additional information from the title reviewer, receive the completed report, and, based on the results, recommend proceeding to lease.
Additionally, this role will track site contract expirations and support renewals and terminations as required.
Ongoing Tasks
The SAQ Project Manager will conduct the following areas of project management and coordination with Legal team tracking and due diligence, including but not limited to :
- Submit a request for title review with the required site information.
- Work with RBDs to satisfy title reviewer information requests, including ordering additional materials or surveys as required.
- Communicate and coordinate with Legal regarding timelines.
- Prioritize projects with Legal based on direction from RBDs.
- Work with the RBDs and Legal team to set project priorities and establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for contract and title review timelines.
- Establish SOPs and SLAs with Legal for contract review.
- Establish SOPs and SLAs for title review and SLA completion.
- Programmatically track and report on contract and title review status.
- Track and manage contract expirations, coordinating with RBDs for direction.
- Attend Regional team meetings as required.
- Leverage existing and collaborate on new mechanisms to manage due diligence budget and schedule.
- Manage the overall legal and SLA process in collaboration with other PMs, maintaining and updating process documentation and operating procedures as needed (e.g., Wiki).
- Spot risks, ask the right questions, clear blockers, ensure the right tradeoffs are made, and escalate appropriately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management.
- Be able to travel when required.
- Clear communicator and able to present data concisely.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail and be accurate in contract and title reviews.
Estimated compensation for this position is :
130,000.00 150,000.00 USD per year
