Job Description
Responsibilities include bidding loan packages from correspondent lenders including direct interaction with peer secondary market staff from participating lenders.
Bidding procedures will involve analysis of loan level bid tapes, applying attribute pricing adjusters, updating applicable market changes, and communication of the bid.
Upon execution, bid confirmations, loan level reconciliations, and creation of loan commitments on the loan origination system will be required.
Analyst will prepare a variety of management presentations and ad hoc financial reporting requests.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically three or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
- Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
- Experience in Mandatory and Best-Efforts Mortgage pricing
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Excel (Macros and Visual Basic), Access database development and programming, QRM, SAS
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
- Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
- Considerable knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
- Expert ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
- Experience with Correspondent Lending and Mortgage Capital markets
