Description We are in the process of adding a Fixed Asset Accountant to our team in Gilbert, Arizona. This role plays a crucial part in our organization, taking charge of our fixed assets and working closely with various accounting functions.
You will be engaged in a range of tasks, including maintaining accurate records, auditing, and working with accounting software systems.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all fixed asset functions within the organization.
Utilize accounting software systems to facilitate and enhance work processes.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and validity of financial information.
Collaborate with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions to optimize resource planning.
Handle all accounting functions, including accrual accounting, to ensure seamless financial operations.
Participate in budget processes to assist in financial planning and forecasting.
Apply knowledge of capitalization rules and regulations in the management of company assets.
Execute Fixed Asset Accounting, ensuring that all company assets are accurately accounted for.
Utilize BlackLine software to automate and control financial close operations.
Develop and implement banner ads as part of the company's marketing strategy. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
Familiarity with Banner Ads is considered an asset
Experience with BlackLine software is highly desired
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
Ability to utilize ERP Solutions for efficient asset management
Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
Expertise in Accrual Accounting is necessary
Experience in Auditing is needed
Familiarity with Budget Processes is required
Understanding of Capitalization principles is necessary
Proficiency in Fixed Asset Accounting is a must-have
