Data Center Administrator - Onsite daily Sunday through Thursday
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Data Center Administrator - to join our Network Facilities Team. Must have a proven background in supporting enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets / Data Centers!
Onsite at our Columbia, SC data center
Required Qualifications of the Data Center Administrator :
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
Required Degree Equivalency : 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
Top 2-4 REQUIRED technologies : network switches, and other enterprise level IT equipment to include servers, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
Responsibilities :
Provide support to Layer 1 aspects of the enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets / Data Centers. Also, experience tracing, running, and connecting all types of IT cabling in professional Data Center environments (Copper, Ethernet, Fiber, etc.
You will be responsible for "rack &stack" all network and server equipment in the primary data centers as well as supporting all Data Closets / Server Rooms across the enterprise.
Staff includes 50 team members.
Position does require lifting data center equipment.
