Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Prof Sci Masters department. This position will report to the Director.
Among the key duties of the position are the following :
- Provides administrative support, ensuring operational efficiencies.
- Assists in the application process by ensuring that required documents have been completed and accurately offered in the program’s customer relations management system (CRM).
- Communicates with prospective students on application requirements and procedures and assists in responding to calls and emails from prospective students.
- Provides ongoing support for applicants after admittance, ensuring proper documentation and registration occurs.
- Assists with establishing, maintaining, and updating an effective and accurate record filng and retrieval system.
- Prepares routine and special reports as needed.
- Prepares student enrollment memos.
- Maintains strict confdentiality and security of student records.
- Assists with various special events, activities, and projects.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of office administration, organization, coordination, facilitation, bookkeeping and / or report writing.
