HIDE+SEEK (838 W Randolph) is seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our team. You’ll be responsible for grilling food to order and ensuring every dish meets our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Grilling : Cook meats, vegetables, and other items on the grill to customer specifications.
- Prep Work : Prepare ingredients for grilling, including cutting, marinating, and seasoning.
- Temperature Control : Monitor grill temperatures to cook food safely and correctly.
- Quality : Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented properly.
- Cleanliness : Keep the grill station clean and organized, following health and safety guidelines.
- Teamwork : Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Order Tracking : Manage grill orders to ensure they are completed on time.
- Inventory : Report low stock levels and help with restocking as needed.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous experience as a Grill Cook is preferred.
- Skills : Strong grilling skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Attention to Detail : Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
- Stamina : Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player : Willing to help in other areas of the kitchen as needed.
- Flexibility : Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
