Tank Wagon Operator :
Glover Oil Company Inc is seeking a Tank Wagon Operator responsible for safely and efficiently delivering diesel fuel while adhering to all safety regulations to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, other duties may be assigned :
- Safe Operations : Operate tank truck in accordance with all applicate traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Fuel Delivery : Accurately deliver diesel fuel to customer locations, ensuring proper metering and documentation.
- Vehicle Maintenance : Perform daily inspections of tank truck, including checking fluid levels, tires, and lights. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including customer signatures and delivery tickets.
Qualifications :
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement
- Experience operating tank trucks or other commercial vehicles
- Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to perform lifting and climbing
