Job Summary :

Americo is currently hiring for a Head of Annuity Product Lines P&L to oversee the entirety of the Fixed and Indexed Annuity lines for the Americo family of companies.

This includes product development, monitoring experience, making crediting rate recommendations, and setting the long-term product strategy.

This position is considered an officer level.

Key Responsibilities :

• Formulate the long-term annuity product line strategy for existing business and new sales.
• Direct the pricing and development of new annuity products.
• Provide recommendations for interest crediting for new and renewal rates.
• Monitor profitability of and risks to the annuity portfolio.
• Oversee retention and conservation programs to maintain an optimal level of persistence.
• Personnel issues hiring, firing, performance reviews, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Knowledge of STAT, Tax, and GAAP Valuation, as well as regulatory requirements surrounding annuity products.
• Knowledge of investment concepts, including hedging.
• Knowledge and experience using actuarial software for projections and pricing.
• Communication skills written and oral.

Education :

• 4-year degree.
• FSA.
