Position Summary :

As a Caregiver at Amada Senior Care, you will provide personalized, hands-on care and companionship to seniors who need assistance with daily activities.

You will be an essential part of helping our clients maintain their quality of life and independence. Whether you are an experienced caregiver or looking to start a career in senior care, we offer the training and support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation, activities, and outings when appropriate.

Help with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary monitoring based on the client's health requirements.

Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a clean living environment.

Assist with medication reminders and monitor clients' overall well-being.

Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.

Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, or social activities if needed.

Communicate regularly with the care coordinator and family members regarding the client’s status and any concerns.

Follow individualized care plans to meet each client’s unique needs.

Qualifications :

Experience as a caregiver, CNA, or similar role is preferred, but not required Amada provides training for the right candidates.

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.

Ability to follow directions, multi-task, and prioritize client care needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Ability to lift, move, or transfer clients as needed.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Background check required.
