Job Title : Director of Sales

Position Summary : Fortune Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to join our management of advertising sales efforts .
This team member will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the performance of a sales team.
Additionally, this role will manage agency coverage and relations, ensuring strong partnerships and maximizing advertising opportunities .
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the media landscape, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in advertising sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and industry partners.
- Manage agency coverage and relations, ensuring strong partnerships and maximizing advertising opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and product development, to create compelling advertising solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in advertising sales, with at least 5 years in a team leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the media industry.
- Strong network of contacts within the advertising and media industry.
- Experience in managing agency relations and coverage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative sales solutions.
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Total Compensation Range (base salary & bonus) : $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 OTE
