Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in designing and developing tooling solutions. Candidates should have at least four years of experience and be proficient in CAD software.
Job Duties :
- Design and develop tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for both production and prototype projects, ensuring safety, ergonomics, quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines
- Utilize CAD software to assess designs, perform form, fit, and function analyses, and make necessary adjustments
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of tooling equipment to ensure consistent performance
- Analyze existing tooling and machine processes to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization
- Provide technical support for tooling issues raised by customers and suppliers
- Collaborate on sourcing and procurement of new tooling, including preparing requests for quotes and assisting with cost estimates
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in tooling design and development
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and evaluation
