What You Will Do
As Senior QA Engineer Horizontal Domain Steward - Data Management and Environments at Caesars Digital, you will be defining and leading our engineering and quality assurance improvements in the space of sports data management and non-production environment architecture and utilization.
Exercising strong engineering and execution skills to create, develop, and drive improvements in this field with a strong focus on helping our Requirements Areas create high quality sports betting and iGaming experiences that Caesars customers will love.
Here are some key qualities you will need :
Deep Technical Expertise : You will possess a deep understanding of data management principles, database technologies, data governance, and related tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in languages like Java and SQL and experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is essential.
- Experience and Domain Knowledge : You should have hands-on experience designing and implementing data management and environments solutions across different industries and use cases (primarily the sports betting domain).
- System Design Skills : You are skilled in designing robust and scalable data architectures that meet the organization's current and future needs, including designing data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Performance Optimization : You are adept at optimizing data environments for performance, throughput, and efficiency.
- Cloud Expertise : Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS is required.
- Data Security and Compliance : You should be aware of data security requirements in our regulated markets and ensure solutions conform to those standards.
- Automation and Orchestration : Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes is necessary.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in data environments.
- Collaboration and Communication : You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Continuous Learning and Adaptability : Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in data management and analytics is required.

What You Will Need
- Proven track record of leading high-profile projects or product development initiatives.
- Experience managing in complex environments with multiple executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of defining performance targets from product teams and historical data.
- A deep understanding of integrating data creation and management into automation frameworks.
- Exposure to modern automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright, and performance frameworks like Gatling or K6.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance in a senior role.
- 2+ years of management leadership experience.
This role is remote, with one required visit to your designated home office per quarter.
