Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you're dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include :
1) Conduct full biopsychosocial assessments, review and update prior assessments, and develop initial treatment plans for clients seeking treatment, admitting to treatment, or transferring between programs
2) Assess clients, and use relevant clinical skills, including administering assessment tools, performing interviews, gathering sensitive information, performing diagnostic interviews, maintaining rapport, writing assessment information according to protocols, and communicating with relevant parties e.g., clinical team, funders
3) Use the American Society of Addiction Medicine's Patient Placement Criteria ASAM PPC-2R in recommending client service levels and in formulating treatment plans
4) Use the Utah Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services UWITS database to enter clinical assessment, billing and client information
5) Complete admissions responsibilities promptly, including administrative work relevant to helping clients enter treatment
6) Collect data and perform research
7) Consult with health professionals and other behavioral organizations
8) Use different scientific methodologies to impact treatment
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in clinical therapy
