Job Description :

As a Carpenter at Mitchell Construction Group, LLC, you will play a crucial role in executing various construction tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

You will work on a range of projects, from new constructions to renovations, and will be responsible for interpreting construction drawings, measuring, cutting, and installing materials.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Read and interpret drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assemble and install structures and fixtures such as frameworks, floors, and cabinets.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including project managers and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentry.
  • Experience with residential construction projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
