Position : Chemist (Scientific Support Analyst)
LCAT : Mid
Location : Reston, VA; DCP 1 or 4
Clearance : TS / SCI and CI poly required
Desired Experience : At least 8 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Desired Education : Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category.
Qualifications :
- Conducts all-source analytic production of national doctrine, strategy, plans, policies, objectives, goals, intentions, command authorities, force structures, and resources relating to :
- Foreign weapons programs
- Foreign military materials
- Chemical plants
- Manufacturing facilities.
Serves as a technical consultant to participate in the development of all-source analysis production on topics that include, but are not limited to :
- Toxic industrial chemicals
- Toxic industrial materials
- Rocket fuels
- Agriculture, CW and nuclear chemistry
- Synthetic organic chemistry.
Other Qualifications :
- Understanding of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or missile programs.
- Demonstrated ability to produce and comply with IC tradecraft standards.
- Demonstrate ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
- Demonstrate in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings.
