Job Title : Mechanic

Job DescriptionPerform repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of all plant process and material handling equipment by reading blueprints and schematics.

Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment within the facility such as motors, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Suggest improvements in work methods and procedures. Initiate purchase orders or work orders for parts, tools, and machines.

Communicate equipment issues to supervisors clearly and immediately. Maintain an understanding of the production floor workflow.

Complete required paperwork properly and understand its content. Show a basic understanding and application of in-house asset management software.

Adhere to OSHA standards and environmental regulations. Observe all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and good housekeeping practices.

Act with quality, safety, and teamwork in mind at all times. Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisors or Plant Management.

Work Environment

Will be working as a mechanic production Machinery. The work environment is fast-paced, and can be cold, hot, loud, and dirty.

Must follow GMPs. Shift : 1st Shift- 4 : 30 AM - 2 : 30 PM, roughly 45-50 hours a week. Pay : $24.96 per hour, increasing to $25.60 after training.
