Introduction to the team

Tax Services’ teams deliver quality tax solutions to public and privately owned middle-market companies, not-for-profit organizations and high net worth individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and review of partnership tax matters in accordance with firm quality control policies.
  • Assist engagement teams with client communication of complex partnership tax matters and potential solutions.
  • Consult with Tax National Office professionals on complex tax matters and development of partnership tax planning solutions.
  • Evaluate skills and develop Senior Managers, Managers, Seniors and Staff in partnership tax law; deliver local technical training.
  • Effectively leverage available technology and other resources to maximize technical application to project and hold the engagement team to the same standard.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
  • CPA or Bar License required.
  • Minimum of 4 years supervising and training experience.
  • Subject matter expert in partnership taxation required; prior experience working with large, active middle-market clients preferred.
  • Proven market facing skills required to sustain existing excellent client relationships.
  • Must have visibility and recognition within your industry specialization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
