Site Safety Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The Safety Manager to lead safety and training initiatives for all on-site customer yard operations, including spotting and scale house teams.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to customer policies and practice
- Manage customer compliance portal and maintain compliance
- Coordinate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) on job functions of drivers and yard staff
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs
- Conduct Job Safety Observations (JSO) on drivers and yard staff on all shifts
- Develop and implement quarterly safety training sessions
- Report, investigate and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on accidents and incidents
- Train drivers and yard staff on all safety-related education
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualification Requirements :
- 6-12 months of previous experience in the transportation industry required
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Class A CDL and Medical Card preferred
- Basic computer skills needed
- Experience in stand up training techniques or OTR Driving experience preferred
