Job Summary :
As a Quantitative Strategist - Associate, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining our trading algorithms and quantitative models.
This position demands a strong analytical mindset, expertise in statistics and programming, and a passion for data-driven decision-making in financial markets.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and optimize quantitative models for trading strategies across various markets and asset classes.
- Conduct statistical analysis and quantitative research to identify potential trading opportunities and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with other quantitative strategists and developers to integrate models into the trading infrastructure.
- Maintain and improve existing models with up-to-date financial data and new algorithmic techniques.
- Analyze large data sets to extract actionable insights and predict market movements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies using back-testing and other validation techniques.
- Communicate complex quantitative concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of advancements in quantitative finance, machine learning, and algorithmic trading.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements in the design and implementation of models.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree or higher in Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in quantitative analysis or algorithmic trading.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB, or similar languages.
- Proficiency in mathematical and statistical modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
