Slalom is target Consultant or Sr. Consultant level candidates for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, migrate, optimize, operate, manage, and scale Azure services.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud services.
  • Gather requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud recommendations and adoption strategy.
  • Create conceptual, logical and physical design for cloud-based solutions for infrastructure and platforms.
  • Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems.
  • Maintain and improve cloud security and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Azure services, automation tools, and scripting languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies).
  • Migration experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, hosted IaaS, Azure Migrate, and other industry tools to support cost estimation and migration execution
  • Automation and orchestration experience with Visual Studio, Azure Resource Manager, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Experience with identity and access management, governance tools, encryption and key management principles, and secure cloud design patterns.
  • Experience configuring and tuning cloud hosted solutions, performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques.
  • Deployment experience with Azure multi-region, disaster recovery (DR), and site resilient engineering (SRE).

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Consultant level the base salary pay range is $96,000 to $177,000.

For this position at the Senior Consultant level the base salary pay range is $110,000 to $203,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.

The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
