Position : Extrusion Machine Operator
Salary : $15 per hour
Schedule : Swing shifts, 3 or 4 days a week :
Day Shift : 7 : 00 am to 7 : 15 pm
Night Shift : 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 15 am
Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team. As an operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently.
Responsibilities :
Machine Operation : Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications.
Quality Control : Monitor the production process, conduct quality checks, and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality.
Material Handling : Load raw materials into the extrusion machine and monitor material levels during operation.
Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery, to ensure optimal performance.
Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Production Reporting : Keep accurate records of production output, downtime, and any issues encountered during the shift.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as an extrusion machine operator or in a related manufacturing role is preferred.
Knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work 3 or 4 days a week on rotating shifts (day and night).
