Currently hiring for 2 Asset Managers.

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and driven individual to take on the role of Asset Manager at a Wind and Solar company based on the East Coast and with projects across the US.

The Asset Manager will be responsible for the operational performance and overall management of the company's wind and solar assets.

We accept candidates from different backgrounds who are willing to move into asset management and learn alongside industry experts.

Minimum experience 3 to 5 years in renewable energy (engineering, performance, asset management etc.).

Location : hybrid in Arlington, VA - DC area.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Management : Oversee day-to-day operations of wind and solar assets to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze asset performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Financial Oversight : Manage budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting for assigned assets. Ensure financial targets are met and identify opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Vendor Management : Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and equipment manufacturers to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repairs.
  • Compliance : Ensure all assets are operated in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks associated with asset management.
  • Continuous Improvement : Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of wind and solar power generation technologies and operations.
  • Proven track record of optimizing asset performance and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
