Assists and supervises special events and programs held throughout Palm Beach County. Opens and closes facilities; ensures compliance of permit conditions.
Conducts site visits, produces written reports and works together with permit holders and the public.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of six (6) months of experience organizing / supervising amphitheater operations and / or special events.
Necessary Special Requirement : Must possess or obtain C ardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / First Aid / Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training certification within six (6) months of hire.
PREFERENCE FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE : Working as an assistant / coordinator for special events (e.g., 5K runs, corporate picnics, concerts, art festivals, live events) (must specify on application) ;
marketing and promoting events; using Microsoft Office Suite (Word / Excel / Publisher / Outlook). Also desirable : Associate's Degree or college coursework in related field.
