Project Coordinator, BaseOps

Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Project Coordinator, BaseOps to coordinate various deliverables, manage documentation, and ensure seamless communication and reporting throughout the entire lifecycle of development projects.

In this role, you will work closely with the BaseOps engineering leadership team and cross-functional partners to ensure that the current and future operational sites have the special tools, parts, processes, and documentation required to service and maintain the fleet.

We are seeking an individual with at least 2 years of prior relevant experience. You have a track record of managing complex cross-functional projects or facilities, ideally with large fleets.

As a Project Coordinator, BaseOps, you will :

• Manage multiple project schedules, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope for cross-functional teams.
• Track project progress, identify any potential risks or issues, and develop and execute mitigations.
• Facilitate regular meetings and communication with cross-functional stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
• Manage project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Prepare and coordinate project reviews for internal teams at all project phases.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all special tools, maintenance, inspection, and documentation projects.
• Drive both internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines as required per the project schedule.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Agile, Smartsheet)
• An ability to do the following : Produce and maintain project budgets and schedules, and manage riskSuccessfully manage multiple projects at one time while maintaining prioritiesUnderstand project interdependencies and the impact of decisions across stakeholdersWork independently with minimal direct supervisionIdentify risks and develop risk mitigation plans
• You demonstrate awareness and uphold the highest standard for all environmental, health, and safety protocols
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in the transportation or automotive industries
• Proficiency in JIRA, Smartsheets, SAP, MS Office, Google Suite, Lucid Charts, and Slack
• Passion for self-driving technology and its potential impacts

Commitment : This is a full-time, 6-month ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
