Responsibilities :
- The Facility Associate role is responsible for supporting the Commercial Construction Project Manager with the day-to-day operations and facility maintenance of multiple Office Business Park in the Houston area
- Ability to change lamps, bulbs, and ballasts
- Minor HVAC adjustments, repairs, and inspections (i.e. filter replacements, temperature changes, emptying drip pans)
- Regular building walkthroughs and inspections of Expansive spaces
- Help with property management and repair coordination tasks.
- Support skilled tradespeople and follow instructions from the Project Manager.
- Drive to collect and deliver materials and assist in maintaining an organized job site.
- Load, unload, and manage construction tools and materials.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform other general labor duties as required to support the smooth operation of construction projects.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent (relevant trade certifications are a plus).
Experience :
Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or handyman work preferred but not required.
Skills :
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and physical stamina to handle manual labor.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.
Work Environment / Conditions :
- On-site work across various construction locations.
- Must be comfortable driving to different job sites and operating a company-provided vehicle.
