Position Summary
This position works collaboratively with section director, manager, and leadership team to provide technical supervision for assigned staff to ensure high quality daily technical operations.
Achieve and comply with established operating budget, quality control, inventory management and regulatory standards. This position receives managerial review of completed work activities from Laboratory Manager.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field or combination of
education and experience. (Required)
Meet technical or general supervisor qualifications as defined by CLIA-88 (Required)
Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in field of specialization in clinical settings. (Required)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as Medical Lab Scientist in clinical laboratory settings (Preferred)
- Previous leadership experience (Preferred)
- Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Technologist in field of specialization ASCP Certification or equivalent (Required)
- Specialist in field of specialization ASCP Certification. (Preferred)
