job summary :
Global industrial manufacturer is seeking a Territory Sales Representative in the greater Seattle area to cover a multi-state, regional territory including Washington State, Idaho, Oregon and portions of Canada.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of outside sales experience (industrial or similar preferred) and a technical aptitude.
Position requires about 40% travel; candidate should be open to being gone a couple of nights per week. Excellent training provided as well as company car.
Engineering background preferred but not required.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
responsibilities :
- Perform needs assessments for potential and existing clients.
- Prospecting, lead generation and account management
- Draft and present quotes to clients.
- Travel across and manage a multi-state territory
- 3-5 years of industrial or similar outside sales preferred
- Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
- Technical sales experience a plus
- Technical aptitude highly desired
- Excellent communication and time / territory management skills
