We are currently seeking a Remote SQL Developer to join our team. United States (US).

This role will support an enterprise initiative associated with ServiceNow CMDB / ITAM / APM Reporting and Analytics and will include creating, managing, and advancing enterprise-wide processes with coordination of IT operations.

This position requires superior coding skills within SQL (T-SQL / Spark SQL) and the ability to create automated reporting solutions using the power platform (power bi / power automate / etc.

Most of the work in this role is associated with data discovery, mapping, scripting, and automating solutions. Additional aspects of this role include partnering with IT operations to clarify business rules, processes, and policies.

This will be an IT - consumer facing role collaborating directly with Associate Directors, Managers, and front-line operations.

Excellent communication and responsiveness are required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 2+ years of experience within SQL programming (preferably with a variety of SQL syntax experience in order TSQL, SPARKSQL )

Specific Experience within SQL :

• Writing complex SQL queries with data discovery, creation, and management using declarative variables (Declare / Sets) and soft coding parameters in queries / subqueries.
• Creation and management of temporary tables
• Data scrubbing and preprocessing
• Query optimization (Partitioning, Indexing, and Scans)
• Designing and managing stored procedures and CTE commands
• Common SQL functions / techniques (wildcards, case statements, mathematical operations, group by, having, where, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with PowerBI creating automated dashboards that depend on server and / or serverless connections.
• 2+ years of experience using various ingestion methods (Direct Query, Import, live)
• 2+ years of experience coding in DAX is mandatory.
• 1+ year of experience creating automated dataflows, vibrant and usable visualizations for operations, and drill-ins and cross filtration.

Nice to haves

• Experience with ServiceNow (CMDB, ITAM, APM) is a significant plus.
• Experience working within cloud technologies like Azure Synapse Analytics and / or Azure Databricks
• Experience working with or having knowledge of serverless (datalake) and server-driven (Warehouse) data systems.
• Experience with APIs and semi-structured data

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($45.

00 - $51.00 / hourly). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.

Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
