Strategy and Planning
- Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients and business development activities locally.
- Procure new business through customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing customers.
- Engage other departments to get referral opportunities.
Business Performance and Management
- Attuned to the current economic and financial markets by attending trainings to be current and proficient in addressing customer queries.
- Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products, and insurance.
- Provide sound financial advice and dispense customised solutions in alignment with the bank's standards and industry regulations.
- Work towards Preferred Banking’s intended goals.
- Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution.
- Achieve service standards set by the bank.
People Management
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills.
- Committed to the improvement of self towards becoming a good ambassador of CIMB Preferred.
Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements.
- Attend all trainings.
Requirements : Qualifications
Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in any discipline.
Professional Qualification and / or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
- Possess the relevant certifications, i.e., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A.
- At least 3 years of relevant Sales experience in Retail Banking.
Technical / Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, outstanding ability to sell.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills.
- Meticulous.
- Team player.
