Job Overview
seca North America is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of various external and internal events, such as tradeshows, product showcases, sales meetings, and key opinion leader (KOL) events.
This role is critical in enhancing our brand visibility, supporting sales, and building relationships with partners, customers, and key stakeholders.
You will manage all aspects of event planning, logistics, communications, budget oversight, and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with seca’s brand and sales strategies.
Your leadership will elevate attendee engagement and ensure flawless execution from start to finish.
Roles and Responsibilities
Trade Show & Exhibition Coordination
- Comprehensive Event Management : Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including tradeshows, product showcases, internal sales meetings, networking summits, and KOL-hosted events.
- Sales & Networking Events : Manage high-profile networking events with KOLs to deepen industry relationships and increase brand visibility.
Plan and run internal sales meetings and summits, ensuring seamless logistics and presentation of materials.
End-to-End Planning : Handle event logistics from initial concept to post-event recap. Coordinate booth design, exhibit services, sales team travel, bookings, and staff schedules.
Conduct product testing and mock setups to ensure smooth presentations at events.
Event Promotion & Communication
- Brand & Sales Support : Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure event goals align with broader business objectives, strengthening brand positioning and sales efforts.
- Promotion : Develop and execute event promotion strategies to maximize attendance and engagement through digital marketing, email campaigns, and social media.
Coordinate exhibition assets, marketing materials, and promotional items.
- Communication : Serve as the central point of contact for all event communications, providing regular updates to internal teams, attendees, vendors, and partners.
- Lead Generation & Follow-up : Manage lead collection during events and collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop follow-up strategies to convert leads into customers.
Post-Event Review & Reporting
Event Review : Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback from attendees and team members, and assess the success of the event.
Identify areas for improvement.
Reporting : Analyze event metrics, such as attendee engagement, lead generation, and ROI. Present findings to the marketing leadership team, along with recommendations for future events.
Budget & Vendor Management
- Budget Management : Oversee event budgets to deliver impactful experiences while managing costs effectively.
- Vendor Relations : Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of services, including booth setup, AV needs, catering, shipping, and logistics.
Industry Trends & Best Practices
Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in event management to improve event strategies and attendee engagement.
Leverage insights to keep seca at the forefront of event innovation.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in event management, tradeshow coordination, or a related field.
- Proven success managing a wide range of events, from large-scale tradeshows to intimate KOL meetings.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and key partners.
- Proficiency with event technologies, lead retrieval systems, and digital promotion platforms.
- Experience managing event budgets and delivering successful events within budget constraints.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% across US and Canada for events.
