An award-winning teaching hospital in New York is searching for an experienced ANM of Medsurg to join their team!
This acute care facility is home to 400+ beds, an adult / pediatric trauma center, NICU, robotic surgery, oncology, pediatrics, and a family birthing pavilion! This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices.
This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.
Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. She / he will work collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.
Requirements :
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN required
- Registration in New York State as an RN, diploma and license required.
- Current ONS Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certificate preferred or successful completion of ONS Chemptherapy and Biotherapy course within 4 months of transfer / hire
- Oncology Nurse Certification preferred.
- Current BLS required ; current ACLS preferred.
- 2-3 year's Med / Surg experience preferred.
- Experience with unit specific Oncology population preferred.
- Excellent organization, communication & interpersonal skills.
