Responsibilities
Supervise the daily activities of the assigned area(s).
Identify observations or trends having a negative impact on the campus and assist with the
development of action plans.
- Conduct follow-up investigations on incident reports and analyze incidents and conditions.
- Monitor associate adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee the training and development of staff.
- Develop, coordinate and implement shift schedules to ensure proper security coverage and protection of the Hospital.
- Assist with preparing security budgets.
- Maintain expenses within budget guidelines.
- Assist manager with daily operation of the department including, interviewing, disciplinary actions, staff management and contract management.
- Coordinate emergency drills.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- Approved Local Exception preferred.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drivers License preferred.
- Law Enforcement preferred.
- Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc. preferred.
- Security Professional preferred
- Security Guard preferred.
Education :
- High School diploma equivalency and 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Technical degree and 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
