The Card & Loan Operations Processor II ensure accurate and timely operations of the Bank's loan process from application through booking and servicing.
Responsible for reviewing and processing loan documentation which prevents closing to clear exceptions and expedite the closing.
Essential Functions :
- Review incoming loan documentation and notes from Farm Bureau Agents in conjunction with consumer and commercial loan applications.
- Review the loan documentation from new applications prior to closing to ensure all documentation is present and complete in order to close.
- Retrieve and save (into APPRO) collateral values from vendor websites such as NADA as instructed by FBB LTV procedures.
- Review cleared Simple Solution checks each day, contact dealership or Loan Processor on missing documents needed to complete application and set the status on the Simple Solution loans as "ready to book."
- Handle the Simple Solution Checks which have had Stop Payments issued.
- Review lending fax email box in a timely manner, ensure all emails are worked for the day until 3 : 00pm. As well as reply back to dealership, agents, customer or internal departments.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Serve as a back-up for positions in Loan and Card Operations. Including but not limited to :
- Research and post all items on the Unposted Loan report.
- Process assigned items in Phoenix requesting changes to loan records.
- Debit card and credit card maintenance
- Imaging and archiving customer and account documents.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Familiarity with lending laws and regulations - (BSA, CIP, Reg Z, Reg E, Reg B, TILA)
- Strong knowledge of loan and collateral documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and leadership qualities.
- Able to work well under pressure to meet daily and monthly goals.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with multiple systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner.
- Strong working experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook / Gmail.
- Strong analytical, research and organizational skills
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with some college desired
- 2 years' experience working with Collateral and Loan Documentation in a Loan Operations or Loan Processing environment.
- Knowledge of loan funding and all components. (Extended warranties, GAP coverage, fees, etc.)
