You will be a serving as a lead Production Specialist, overseeing Production Designers though the production design process then managing the QA of the designs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with project management and problem solving skills. Contractors must be able to work 40 hours a week onsite in our Austin office, from 7 / 8 through 8 / 30
What you'll do
- You will work on site with a team of Production Designers that will :
- Finalize approved concepts, ensuring designs adhere to design standards while effectively meeting different requirements
- Select and implement final imagery and iconography into pixel perfect design
- Add final red-line specifications and design standards
- Facilitate the handoff of designs to be implemented by Development and Engineering teams; participate in QA process
- Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables. Own an exceptional eye for pixel-perfect detail
- Output will be a functional prototype built using client's proprietary WYSIWYG platform, in four languages. Prototype will be created and assembled by team of Production designers and leads based on screenshots uploaded to prototyping tool and hotspots added
Who you are
- 3-4 years experience with digital production process
- Strong QA / editing
- Extremely strong attention to detail
- Team leadership and strong communication skills
- No coding required, but basic comfort around HTML / XML is helpful
- Photoshop skills
- Quick to master a proprietary WYSIWYG tool (client provides training) and then to support the team in its usage
- Ability to lead the team - soft skills will be important
- QA responsibilities - keen eye for details and ability to communicate those back to Designers for correction
- Must be able to work on site in Austin, TX for the duration of the project
Nice to have" experience :
- Basics of Photoshop
- Fundamentals of how digitals prototypes are created
- Exposure to a localization process
- Ability to visually differentiate between Japanese kana and Simplified Chinese characters (no need to read these languages)
