Idaho Central Credit Union's mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As an SBA Operations Manager, you will engage with our members and team members by coaching, training, and guiding the team members and program in SBA lending activities.
You will also work with vendors and other lending partnerships within the Credit Union to establish the best program for our SBA members.
You will also be a strategic member with our community partners.
This position will be located in the Boise area
Responsibilities
At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include :
- Help maintain and train the SBA Production team to all SBA functions
- Cross train team members as part of improved production efforts
- Maintain shared folders with up to date info for process
- Monitors and adjusts the daily workflow to ensure that operational commitments are met
- Create and maintain training material around process and procedures
- Establish high level of operational efficiencies while maintaining internal controls
- Audit SBA Processor and SBA Analyst activities and provide training as needed
- Direct and represent the Credit Union in all internal and external audits
- Provide CRM training
- Analyze departments' statistical performance to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement
- Assists in preparation of budgets and goal setting
- Help manage monthly reports
- Ensure that loan file audits are conducted to ensure quality and lending policies are followed
- Assist with collection efforts for delinquent commercial loans
- Investigate, recommend, and implement new credit related products, procedures, and tools to keep the Credit Union competitive in the SBA lending area
- Handle personnel issues, complete employee reviews, make employment decisions and recommendations for compensation plans when appropriate
- Help ensure high standards for member satisfaction in all production areas of team operations including resolution of member service issues, complaints, and problems
- Help ensure the establishment of sound business lending practices that gain efficiencies and are following the Credit Union policies and procedures as well as applicable federal regulations.
Recommend changes as necessary.
- Provide backup support to the underwriting and processing teams as needed
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Before you apply, make sure you have :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in SBA Lending or 2+ years SBA Lending and Mangement experience
- Strong oral and communication skills
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records at all times
This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
You must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
