Founded in 1997, my client is a national investment banking organization that specializes in the middle market and works across M&A and Capital Markets.

Job Description :

The client is currently seeking a Managing Director for their Technology group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating and executing M&A and Capital Markets transactions, with flexible location options available for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities :

• Transaction Origination : Lead efforts to identify and pursue new M&A opportunities.
• Deal Execution Oversight : Manage the complete deal process, including preparation of marketing materials and conducting due diligence.
• Relationship Development : Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and deal referral sources.
• Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior bankers, supporting their professional growth.
• Recruitment Assistance : Help in recruiting both senior and junior bankers to enhance our team.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree required; MBA is strongly preferred.
• Experience : Significant M&A and Capital Markets experience in the Tech Space at a middle market, boutique, regional, or bulge bracket investment bank, with a proven track record of sourcing and completing multiple middle market M&A and capital markets transactions over the past 3-5 years.

Ideally generate $2mm - $3mm in revenue a year.

• Team Leadership : Experience managing junior bankers and overseeing M&A processes.
